Artypedia:About
From Artypedia
Abstract
Artypedia is an art project that aims at expanding the view on the term "art". It is an autonomous Wiki that takes selected articles from the english Wikipedia, replacing the main term of the article with the term "art". Terms from the same family as the main term are also replaced transporting the terminology of the article's topic into the realm of art. So for instance when replacing the term "Advertising" with "Art" the term "Advertiser" would become "Artist".

For example, of art as a conceptual space or from work in progress, the speech, all terms that have led to a radical redefinition of art. Since then, however, also used a large disorientation, because even what constitutes "right" or "good" art. It is no secret that this is sometimes difficult for even experts
Defining, explaining or even thinking about art is friggin hard and can make you really miserable.
We all have our personal attitude towards art, artists and the art world. Artypedia articles place the term art into completely different contexts and hereby challenge these attitudes by ironising, rejecting or mirroring the perceived meaning of the term.
Artypedia is a social media experiment, which is open for participation for everyone intrested, 'artist' or not, in the same manner as is the case with Wikipedia.
